In celebration of its 80th year, Embassy Court’s sister building, The Isokon in Hampstead has opened a gallery to the public for a remarkable exhibition. This exhibition tells a fascinating story, of the building itself, the world-famous figures that made it their home in the 1930s, and the company, Isokon, that shared its name and became a by-word for visionary design.
This a “must see” exhibition for all those interested in Wells Coates and Modernist Design. It is free and open to the public every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm until the 26th October. See http://isokongallery.co.uk/ for more details.
